Disney Cruise Line is loved by many people all over the world. There are lots of other cruise lines but non come close to the level of service you receive onboard the Disney Cruiseline.

When it comes to planning a Disney Cruise, things can get a bit confusing. Where should you sail? What are the best ports? What time of year should you sail? Are the speciality Disney cruises worth it? That’s the whole reason I decided to write this guide

If you’re looking ahead to the future to plan a vacation with Disney Cruise Line, there is a lot that can be confusing! Where should you sail? What ship should you sail on? We get it, we’ve been there.  So we’ve put together a quick guide to the Disney Cruise Line Ships to help you!

Currently, there are four gorgeous ships in their fleet with a fifth ship making its inaugural voyage later this year.  Each shihas its own signature style and allure. In this guide, you will get to know more about each Disney Cruise ship to help you decide which one you should choose for your next magical vacation.

The four Disney Cruise ships currently in rotation are the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. As I mentioned earlier, the Disney Wish will make its grand debut later this year. Each of these ships offer their own unqiue experience both onboard and at their specific ports of call.

The Ultimate Guide To The Disney  Wonder

The Wonder is the sister ship to the Magic – Disney Cruise Line’s smaller ships. It host 875 staterooms with a max capacity of 2700. It is the second oldest of all the Disney ships. Our favorite mermaid, Ariel, sits pretty in the atrium and everyone’s sillly duck – Donald – calls the ships stern home.

The Disney Wonder has been reimagined and refrusbished several times since its inauguration giving the ship a wonderful fresh feel.

Some of the best dining experiences at sea can be found on the Disney Wonder. One of the most popular restaurants, Tiana’s Place, can only be found on the Wonder. It offers a wonderfully entertaining dinner show and a chance to meet the gorgeous Tiana herself! Animator’s Palate and Triton’s round out the table service restaurants that are part of your dining rotation.

The adult only dining experience, Palo, can also be found onboard The Wonder. Please not that advanced resverations are required as well as an additional fee.  If you are looking for more casual options onboard the Disney Wonder your options include: Pete’s Boiler Bites,Cove Cafe,Daisy De-Lites, Preludes, Pete’s Boiler Bites,, and Eye Scream Treats.

Room service is also available 24hrs a day!

Once again, the Disney Wonder is home to the classic Disney shows and spectaculars you come to expect onboard a Disney Cruise. Frozen: A Musical Spectacular is not to be missed! In addition, The Golden Mickeys and Disney Dreams can be seen in the Walt Disney Theatre.

The Ports of Call change from year to year so always refer to the Disney website for the latest information. For 2022, the Disney Wonder is set to sail from San Diego to Baja Mexico in the Spring and then it’s off to Alaska from Vancover in the Summer. The Disney Wonder is the only ship that goes to Alaska. In Fall, the Disney Wonder return to San Diego where they end out the year going to Baja.
