Now is a Great Time to Save on a Walt Disney World Vacation

Looking for a travel-related gift for the holidays? Thinking about a Walt Disney World vacation in early 2021? Disney released room discounts this week that can help save money and make this a reality.

Guests planning to travel early January through mid-April, have a chance to save up 35% at select resorts for most nights. This time frame covers Presidents Day Weekend, Spring Break and Easter! While rooms need to be booked by March 15, they are subject to availability and some dates and/or resorts could sell out. My existing clients each saved several hundred dollars on their existing reservations when I applied it for them.

Florida residents have their own special 35% savings along with 40% savings for Annual Passholders. Eligible guests can book these rates at any time until the promotion ends on April 17th. Like the general public discount, these are also subject to availability at each resort. Proof of Florida residency is required for the Florida Resident Rate and a valid Annual Pass for the passholder rate must be shown at the time of check-in.

To provide guests added peace of mind, Disney has also extended their temporary flexible change and cancellation policies through April 30, 2021. Guests can now make changes or modifications to their reservations up to the day they are supposed to check-in. This means that any Disney imposed fees that Disney typically charges for for changes or cancellations will be waived.

The dates included in the offer are some of the best times to visit Disney World. Starting in January, Disney’s Festival of the Arts will be returning to Epcot through February 22nd. 15 Studios will be located around the World Showcase serving up “culinary art”. Disney will also invite “Disney inspired” artists to the event to demonstrate their craft and sell their creations. Special merchandise and entertainment will also be offered. After the Festival of the Arts wraps up, one of Epcot’s signature events – the Flower and Garden show should be kicking off. No details yet for 2021, but past events have included beautiful Disney topiaries, stunning landscapes and floral displays along with “spring-inspired kitchen” booths.

2020 as a year has been lacking for so many reasons and travel-related experiences have been at the top of that list. If you are looking for a holiday gift that will delight everyone and give them something to look forward to and also save some money, this is the promotion for you!
