Best Outdoor Dining At Disney Springs

Where to Find Outdoor Dining – Part 1

With outdoor dining being so big right now, I am going to take a look at the best places to have a great meal at Disney while still social distancing and staying safe. There are so many options at Disney World that I am going to break this into two posts – one exclusively for Disney Springs and one for theme park and resort locations.

Disney Springs is back and open for business! Safety protocols are in place and both dining locations are allowed to have both indoor and outdoor dining seating. For guests who are not comfortable yet dining inside, Disney Springs offers a wide variety of food options, both table service and quick service locations.

The Landing neighborhood is home to many of the best outdoor dining options. Steaks, seafood, both Asian and Latin inspired cuisines, Southern comfort food and an Irish pub offer something for every taste and craving.

With fantastic seafood, steaks and more, guests at The BOATHOUSE can dine inside or enjoy water views from an expansive deck overlooking the water. Both lunch and dinner are served here and there is a great outdoor bar space as well.

Right next door to The BOATHOUSE is Paddlefish. Located on a replica riverboat that was originally named The Empress Lilly, after Walt’s wife Lillian Disney, this fabulous location offers multiple levels of outdoor dining. The rooftop level, the only of its kind at Disney Springs offers fantastic views. Lunch and dinner are served daily. A special brunch menu is available on Sunday. The menu is heavy on seafood dishes, but there are multiple options for the non-fish eaters in your group.

If you are looking for something a bit more casual with some spice, head to Paradiso37. Guests can feast on Latin-inspired cuisine along with a large array of tequilas to try while dining on their large outdoor deck. Lunch and dinner are both offered at Paradiso37.

Comfort food with a Florida flare is what you’ll find at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. Deviled eggs, fried chicken and more are all on the menu here. Moonshine cocktails are also featured. This restaurant recently underwent an expansion of its outdoor Shine Bar space, which is perfect in the current situation. Sunday brunch is served along with lunch and dinner daily.

Guests looking for Asian food should look no further than Morimoto. This location offers both a quick service and a table service option, both with outdoor seating. Egg rolls, ramen, sushi and Morimoto’s famous ribs are all available at Morimoto Asia Street Food. The table service area features sushi, Peking Duck, ribs and more. Morimoto is open for lunch and dinner. The dinner menu does offer some additional items such as a scrumptious filet mignon.

Traditional Irish fare and fun is on tap at Raglan Road and it’s quick service location Cooke’s of Dublin. Traditional fish and chips, bangers and mash along with other Irish staples are featured here. The table service location also offers live music and Irish step dancing. Sitting outside or not near the main stage? No worries, the dancing can come to you. Raglan Road serves lunch, dinner and an amazing Sunday brunch.

As we move from The Landing area to the Town Center area, there are 3 great options for outdoor dining here.

Frontera Cocina serves traditional Mexican dishes and fabulous margaritas both inside and on their fabulous covered outdoor deck. If you are a fan of guacamole, be sure to try their delicious bacon version! This table service location right in the center of Disney Springs is open for lunch and dinner.

Blaze Pizza is a quick service option that offers a large outdoor space for guests. Guests order custom made pizzas and more inside the restaurant, but can choose to dine outside. Pizzas are meant for 1 or 2 people, so if you have a larger group, it’s a good chance to share some different varieties.

Looking for bbq? Polite Pig is the place to be. This quick service location offers brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken and more on the menu. Different sauces give diners the option to make it exactly what they want. Unique sides like street corn, roasted Brussels sprouts and a mac and cheese round out the menu. Bourbon cocktails are also available. A large inside dining area is available as well as a large outdoor space.

Over on the West Side of Disney Springs, the new City Works is the place to go for chicken wings, burgers, and innovative main dishes. Beer fans will be able to choose from over 90 varieties on tap! With 17 big screen tv’s, this is also the place to catch the big game. An outdoor bar space and large patio are available for guests still looking to stay outside.

As you can see, Disney Springs has so many varieties of both cuisines and outdoor spaces to choose from. Reservations are recommended at all of the table service locations. Reservations for some locations can be made directly with the restaurant or through Disney Dining.

My next post will feature outdoor dining locations options in all four theme parks and at some of the resorts as well!
