Disney Fall Happenings and Disney World Savings!

The Fall season is a marvelous time for a Disney vacation. Whether in theme parks or on the seas, there are events for families or for adults. Some of these are included for theme park or cruise guests and some have an additional cost. Let’s check them all out…

Walt Disney World

While the calendar may say August, that’s when the fall fun at Disney World kicks off. With two signature events, Halloween fans and foodies each have something to look forward to.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event held on select nights in the Magic Kingdom from 7 pm to midnight. Many fan favorites are returning this year, such as the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular”, “Boo to You Halloween Parade” and the ride of the Headless Horseman. An exciting new fireworks show “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” hosted by the “Pumpkin King” Jack Skellington will feature projections, lasers and fireworks. Enhancements to Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, The Mad Tea Party and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor will also add to the fun.

The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is the longest one to date and will run from August 29th through November 23rd. The festival is included with park admission to Epcot, but items at the booths are an additional cost. Snack credits from the Disney Dining Plan can also be used. In addition to the food booths, guests can enjoy nightly concerts with the Eat to the Beat series. There are also free food and beverage seminars for guests to learn more from vendors, celebrity chefs and food suppliers. A Tequila Lunch in Mexico, a Parisian Breakfast in France and wine pairing events are just some of the special events available for booking. Party for the Senses, the festival’s signature event, is always a highly sought after ticket.

With just released discounts for select dates, guests can enjoy all that the Fall has to offer at Disney World and save money while doing it! With room offers, vacation package discounts and Free Dining all currently being offered, now is a great time to visit.

Disney Cruise Line

Guests sailing on all 4 Disney ships during the months of September and October will be sailing on special Halloween on the High Seas cruises. Special Halloween activities from costume contests, trick or treating, dance parties and a pumpkin tree are just some of the special onboard fun for everyone.

Disneyland

Both Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure get in on the Halloween happenings in 2019. Starting September 6th and running though October, both parks will be decked out for the season.

Disneyland will be home to the annual Nightmare Before Christmas overlay in the Haunted Mansion, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. For the first time in several years, all guests will get to view “Halloween Screams” a projection and special effects show and select nights will be enhanced with fireworks.

Disney’s California Adventure’s festivities will be presided over by Ooogie Boogie from Nightmare from Before Christmas. Cars Land and Guardians: Mission Breakout will feature special Halloween additions.

Fans of Pixar’s Coco can celebrate the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) with special food, entertainment and merchandise.

New for 2019 and replacing Mickey’s Halloween Party in Disneyland is The Oogie Boogie Bash. For 20 select nights starting on September 17th this special ticketed event will include immersive trick or treat trails, a “Villainous” World of Color show and special new entertainment.

Fall is a fantastic time to visit your favorite Disney destination or try something new. Don’t miss out!
