Now Is the Time to Plan Your Fall Vacation

Summer doesn’t officially begin for another week or so, but now is the time to start thinking about fall travel plans.

With more and more normal returning to Walt Disney World every single day, there has never been a better time to make sure you don’t miss any of the fun. Resorts, restaurants, entertainment and guest experiences are coming back at a rapid pace with what seems like a big announcement every day.

This fall will also see three special events come to Walt Disney World that will make a visit even more exciting.

Epcot Food and Wine Festival:  This perennial fan favorite returns with even more dates for guests to savor. This year’s festival is the longest one ever and will begin in mid-July and run through mid-November.

Over 30 food booths will be on hand to tantalize your taste buds. Returning favorites such as Greece, Canada and Hawai’i will be joined this year by newcomers Brew-Wing at the Epcot Experience, Kenya, The Lobster Landing and more. Most booths will open at the start of the festival, but some may be delayed until October 1.

Live entertainment and special activities for kids will also return this year to the festival. As soon as details are released, I’ll be sure to share.

Disney After Hours Boo Bash:  Fans of the iconic Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, will have to wait another year for the event to return, but a new Halloween themed event will be making its debut in mid- August.

The Boo Bash will be a special ticketed event that will take place at Magic Kingdom after the regular park hours have ended. Guests will get shorter wait times for attractions, special performances, select unlimited snacks and more.

Tickets are now on sale for all dates.

Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration: This 18 month celebration will begin on October 1st and be a party for everyone.

All four theme parks are getting in on the festivities with special decor, activities and even attraction openings (Ratatouille!).

While we’re still waiting for many of the specific details to be announced, now is the time to make your plans to be there for this amazing event.

Fall is one of the most magical times of year to visit Walt Disney World and this year is no exception. More and more magic comes back every day and now is the time to make sure that you are a part of it. Let’s Make Some Memories!
