Disney Cruise Line has just announced itineraries and sail dates for Fall of 2022. Let’s take a look at the highlights!
Disney Wish – Disney Cruise Line will be launching a new ship in June of 2022. This ship has a very different design than the 4 previous Disney ships and guests are very excited to see it. With more Concierge stateroom types, a Mickey Mouse-themed water attraction, entirely new rotational dining concepts, redesigned adult pool area, as well as kids spaces, are just the beginning.
Star Wars fans will definitely want to check out The Hyperspace Lounge. This venue will be family-friendly during the day and adult-only in the evening.
The Disney Wish will be sailing 3 and 4 night Bahamas sailings from Port Canaveral, Florida. All Wish sailings do include a stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. This fantastic day is everything that a carefree beach day should be. Just grab your towel, sunscreen and any personal items you need and head out. Everything else – chairs, umbrellas, food, drinks and more are waiting for you.
While the Disney Wish will be the new kid on the block, the other 4 Disney ships will also be delighting guests in various locations.
Disney Magic – The Magic will be returning from its summer exploring Europe with a 12 night Transatlantic sailing. New York City will be home for the early part of the fall. The Magic will set sail for both Canadian destinations as well as Bermuda. In November, the two sailings out of San Juan, including a Southern Caribbean itinerary, will take place before calling Galveston, TX home into December.
Disney Wonder – The Wonder will remain on the West Coast following the Alaska season. It will call San Diego home while it explores Baja and the Mexican Riviera.
Disney Dream – The second half of 2022 will be an exciting one for The Dream. After spending over 10 years calling Port Canaveral home and exclusively doing Bahamian sailings, The Dream will have a new home port and new ports to visit. The Dream will transition to Miami, Florida and will begin sailing to Western Caribbean as well as continuing with Bahamas sailings. The Dream will also have a few “double dip” to Castaway Cay sailings.
Disney Fantasy – The Disney Fantasy will continue to call Port Canaveral, Florida home while alternating between Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
Fall sailings also have the added bonus of usually being a special themed cruise. Most September and October sailings are Halloween on the High Seas themed. Starting in mid-November and running through December sailings, Halloween makes way for Very Merrytime activities and decor.
