FAQs

What is concierge-level travel planning?

To me, concierge-level planning is all about the little details from arranging a grocery stop with your airport transportation to making sure that food allergies are noted on reservations. I provide as complete an experience as possible for my clients. I am always here to be their “go-to” when they have questions or want to bounce ideas around. Even if a client has an issue after they have returned home, I work to get it resolved!

I tell my clients that I can do as much of the planning or as little as they want, depending on what they are looking for.

Are special rates available?

Depending on the destination, special rates can be available.

Do you offer promotions?

I, personally, do not offer promotions to my clients. For certain destinations I do offer things such as onboard credit or gift cards upon the completion of travel. Occasionally, I also have a group opportunity with special rates available.

How do you help me get the best price?

I always try to find the best pricing for my clients. If a promotion is released after they book, I will work to apply whatever savings are available for them. Sometimes that means offering them a different resort, an upgraded room or that the price that they have can’t be beat.

Is it cheaper for me to just find deals myself?

Usually, the answer to this is “no!”. Time is money and most of my clients don’t have the time to hunt down all the potential savings or options for a destination. As a professional Travel Planner, I know ins and outs that may not be available without my assistance. In the rare instance where a client has found a deal that I can’t, I can often call the company and see what can be done or if it really is a deal for them. This way the client knows all the details and that I have their best interests at heart.

How can you be 100% free to me?

While some travel planners charge a planning fee, that is not something that I do. I am paid by commissions from the travel company based on what each guest books. Something that most people don’t know is that commission is built into every reservation, whether they use a travel agent or not. If they don’t use an agent, the travel company just keeps the extra as profit. Guests don’t receive any assistance and pay the same price as someone who books with a travel agent and has all the help they provide at their disposal.
