Top 10 Attractions At Disney Hollywood Studios

Next up in our series of Disney World’s best attractions to visit this year is Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Recently, Hollywood Studios went under a huge transformation and there are tons of new things to see and do when you visit. If you are a Star Wars fan you cannot miss Galaxy’s Edge. It has everything you need to help you feel like you are a part of the action. Hollywood Studios is quickly becoming a favorite park among visitors to Disney and I’m about to show you why.

Top 10 Attractions At Disney Hollywood Studios

1 – Galaxy’s Edge

Hollywood Studios is truly the place to be if you are a fan of Star Wars. Galaxy’s Edge is breathtaking. There are several attractions to see but simply walking around and taking in the sights is an experience all its own. Disney outdid themselves with the details making this something you must do when visiting Hollywood Studios

2- Ride of the Resistance

In order to go on the Ride of the Resistance, you must book a boarding group on the Disney app. It can be tricky but there are so many tips and tricks online designed to help you snag a coveted spot as part of the resistance. The reviews for ROTR are incredible. As I said it takes a bit of work to get on but it is well worth it. It’s an experience you won’t quickly forget.

3 – Smugglers Run

Imagine being able to ride on the Millennium Falcon – well you can! You may even be able to pilot the ultimate Star Wars aircraft. This fully immersive experience is something not to be missed.  As a guest, you will go on an interactive smuggling mission while working as a crew member on the Millennium Falcon. All the year pretending you were Hans Solo sitting next to Chewy can now come true on this ultimate Star Wars experience.

4- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

One of the newest attractions to hit Hollywood Studios is Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway which replaced The Great Movie Ride. The queue alone for the Runaway Railway is worth a visit. You will head through a simulated movie screen and head on an out-of-control silly adventure with Disney’s iconic couple.

5 – Toy Story Mania

One of the classic Pixar attractions calls Hollywood Studios home. Toy Story Mania is a fun take on the classic shooting games found in old school arcades. If you are a Toy Story fan this attraction should be at the top of your list.

6 – Aliens Swirling Saucers

One of the newer additions to Hollywood Studios thanks to the Toy Story Land expansion is Aliens Swirling Saucers. This ride is a new take on the classic Tea Party attraction from Magic Kingdom.

7 – Slinky Dog Dash

One of the most popular attractions at Hollywood Studios continues to be Slinky Dog  Dash Roller coaster. The photo ops as part of the queue are some of the best on property. If you are a coaster fan this one should be your first stop when visiting Hollywood Studios.

8 – Tower of Terror

At a staggering 13 stories tall lives Tower of Terror easily one of the most frightening yet entertaining attractions on Disney property. If thrill rides are what you seek then Tower of Terror is definitely one not to miss. The design, theming, and execution of the ride make this a fully immersive experience you will always remember

9 – Rock n Roller Coaster

Your super-stretch limo awaits ready to take you on a journey through Hollywood. This isn’t a regular limo ride by any means. The ride goes from 0-60mph in a matter of seconds zipping you through tons of twists and turns set to the music of the classic rock band, Aerosmith. This ride is something my family has to do on every visit to Hollywood Studios.

 

10 – Frozen Sing-Along

Let it go, Frozen is here to stay! If you are a fan of Elsa and Anna this attraction is for you. Get set to sing along to your favorite Frozen songs with the stars themselves. Hang on until the end so a fun surprise every Frozen fan will LOVE.
